In February 2020 the next step in the TVET (Technical Vocational Education and Training) revitalization program in Indonesia was kicked-off. After two years of piloting, the objective of this program is to develop a blueprint for the revitalization of TVET schools in Indonesia.
The program contributes to enhancing the employment prospects of graduates by ensuring a greater synergy between the TVET system and the needs of the modern labour market. Moreover, it should improve the quality and attractiveness of the VET system in Indonesia and strengthen TVET institutes to modernize and enhance the employability of human resources.
This two-year program is funded by Nuffic and Indonesia, and it will be implemented by a consortium of Indonesian and Dutch educational partners. HAS University is the main Dutch contract partner while project management is in the hands of Engelie Beenen of HollandDoor.
HollandDoor is responsible for the project management. Furthermore HollandDoor will strengthen selected training partners in Indonesia and jointly revitalize the first cluster of TVET colleges in Lombok, where we received a fabulous welcome during this first kick-off session. In the coming newsletters, we will update you on the organisations involved, progress, activities and steps we take.
