The Danish farmers union Vestjysk has asked HollandDoor to organize a 2-day visit to the Netherlands to take a closer look at a number of sectors.
The participants visited a dairy farm where they were not only shown around but also updated on the phosphate and nitrogen problems in the Netherlands. They were also allowed to test their own cheese-making qualities during a cheese-making workshop.
Day 2 a rose grower and a large potted plant company were visited where, in addition to normal business operations, the participants were also introduced to the innovations and robotization that are being applied in this company.
