For some time now, HollandDoor has been involved in the development of the online Dairy Training Center (DTC) in Sri Lanka. This initiative was set up by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, in collaboration with Yuverta, University of Peradeniya. It represents a significant step forward in the development of dairy farming in Sri Lanka.
At the end of January, our dedicated team met in Sri Lanka to refine the training modules and gain first-hand insights by visiting a wide range of farms across the country. Working closely with my colleagues was an enriching experience. We delved into the intricacies of the dairy industry in Sri Lanka.
As a team, we are determined to make the DTC a success by providing Sri Lankan dairy farmers with the knowledge and skills they need to operate in this ever-evolving industry. I am confident that we will achieve our goal and bring about positive changes in Sri Lanka's dairy sector.
